To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to show my appreciation to LWCT, by writing this letter, to say how this company has helped me.
I’ve struggled for years, with hospital appointments, due to living in a rural area, and not being able to drive for a while. Sometimes I wasn’t able to attend my appointments, as the trains, and buses, didn’t always get me there on time, and also being left stranded due to missing my connections coming home. This has resulted in me, either having to walk, or paying out a lot of money, in getting other help.
I was chatting to friend, and she told me about this company, and how they’re helping the community with their travel arrangements, and told me to contact the office in Builth Wells.
I immediately contacted the office, and was told about the service. My mind was at rest, knowing they could help me.
I was collected from the house, by one of their volunteer drivers, and taken to my appointment in Hereford. My journey was very pleasant, as the driver couldn’t do enough to help.
I was taken as near to the door, as possible, and then picked up after my appointment. I no longer have to worry about future appointments, as I know they’re on the other end of the phone to help.
Another wonderful thing they do, is your weekly shopping. You can either phone the office with your list, or call your local volunteer driver, and they will collect it from you, and take the stress out of the travelling, and carrying of your groceries. So if you’re struggling to do any of the above, as I was, just give them a call. I’d like to say a huge thank-you, to all of LWCT, for all their help, that they have given to myself, as I wouldn’t of been able to have got to any of my appointments without them.
Yours faithfully,
Jayne
