{"id":224,"date":"2019-08-20T06:29:00","date_gmt":"2019-08-20T05:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwct.org.uk\/talgarth-mill-day-out\/"},"modified":"2021-06-04T13:21:51","modified_gmt":"2021-06-04T12:21:51","slug":"talgarth-mill-day-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lwct.org.uk\/cy\/talgarth-mill-day-out\/","title":{"rendered":"Talgarth Mill Day Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Twelve of us had a lovely outing to Talgarth Mill on August 20th, 2019, with our driver John.<!--more--><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">The weather was very kind to us, and we were able to begin with lunch in the Bakers Table Caf\u00e9 &#8211; where the food is somewhat delicious.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Talgarth Mill stopped turning in 1946, but the local community were determined to see it in action once more. In May 2010 they received lottery funding to restore the 18<sup>th<\/sup> Century Watermill to full working order.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-220 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/lwct.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_1142-750x510.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"510\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Today flour from Llowes is milled four times a week and bread baking takes place on five days a week.
